Level 4 Management and Leadership
Professional Managers are key to managing team dynamics, equality and diversity, report development and the organisation’s culture, values and behaviour. The Level 4 Diploma in Leadership and Management provides a structured approach to the development of risk management and process review, quality assurance management and the managing of a tendering process.
Furthermore, employees completing this higher qualification will consider strategic analysis and decision making on such areas as staff turnover, product development, operational planning and the use of technology.
Location: Work-Based and Self-Study
Duration: 12 – 15 Months
Entry Requirements: Employees should hold a contract of employment and be employed for a minimum of 16hrs per week.
Employee progression: Successful employees could progress on to a higher level Management and Leadership frameworks.
UNIT 24 – Prepare for and Support Quality Audits
This unit supports learners to understand quality standards applied internally and externally so that the organisation can effectively partcipate in a quality audit and take corrective action where required.
UNIT 34 – Plan Change in own Area of Responsibility
The unit aims to develop a learner’s communication strategy and plan for change within their department and area of responsibility. Learners will consider how change is analyses by all team members and evaluate barriers to change, over coming resistance and reviewing feedback provided throughout the change process.
This qualification can be fully funded as a stand-alone qualification through the Advanced Learner Loan. Alternatively, this Level 4 is also available commercially as a stand-alone qualification and funded through a Higher Apprenticeship framework.
