Level 3 in Residential Care

Those that work in the sector are required to safeguard, protect and develop the children and young people in their care. As well as having the knowledge and understanding required to support those who have experienced harm or abuse, they are required to promote effective communication, achieve positive outcomes and show exception professional practice at all times.

The Level 3 in Residential Care supports the development of all these core skills and is tailored to the individual’s job role so that additional support and learning is provided on such topics as the use of medication, working with families, supporting people with complex disabilities and understanding the youth justice system as it relates to residential care.
