Business and Administration L4
Senior Administrative Staff perform a strategic role within their department and across the business by managing teams, evaluating and improving processes and risk, and supporting the purpose, values and sustainability of the organisation. Level 4 Learners will continue to develop these skills within their framework whilst being assessed and developing their knowledge on the implementation of services, environmental impact, continuity management strategy, business innovation and negotiation and delegation skills.
Location: Work Based
Duration: 15 – 18 Months
Entry Requirements: Employees should hold a contract of employment and be employed for a minimum of 16hrs per week.
Employee progression: Successful employees could progress on to a higher level Management and Leadership framework.
UNIT 23 – Manage Physical Resources
This unit supports the evaluation of alternative options for obtaining resources, the impact of new resources in the business environment and the importance of using sustainable resources.
UNIT 30 – Develop and Implement an Operational Plan
The unit aims to support learning on how planning tools and techniques can be used in the process of operational plans, including setting SMART objectives and ensuring consistency throughout the process.
On completion of this unit, learners will have shown how to communicate to all stakeholders and how to conduct a cost-benefit analysis in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the operational plan.
This qualification can be fully funded within an Apprenticeship framework and as a stand-alone qualification through the Advanced Learner Loan. Alternatively, this Level 4 is also available commercially as a stand-alone qualification.
