Intermediate Level Facilities Services
As a Facilities and Contract Coordinator, you support the maintenance of premises, services and security. At Level 2, you will develop your knowledge, understanding and skills on the monitoring of facilities, developing effective working relationships and ensuring that health, safety and security is maintained at all times for all stakeholders.
Location: Work Based
Duration: 12 – 15 Months
Entry Requirements: You should hold a contract of employment and be employed for a minimum of 16hrs per week.
Employee Progression: You could progress on to the Advanced Facilities Management framework.
UNIT 8 – Maintain Sire Security and Safety
This unit looks at your knowledge, understanding and skills to monitor procedures including systems security, checking equipment and reporting to the appropriate member of staff. You will be required to demonstrate your understanding of the organisation’s policies that relate to security, safety and your job role.
UNIT 12 – Carry Out Maintenance and Minor Repairs
The unit considers the preparations, knowledge and skills you require to carry out appropriate minor repairs and maintain the workplace environment.
This qualification can be fully funded within an Apprenticeship framework. Alternatively, it is available commercially as a stand-alone qualification.
At present, Level 2 qualifications are not eligible for Advanced Learner Loans.
