First Line Management – Advanced Level 3
The Level 3 Diploma supports you to develop leadership skills and to broaden your ability in a range of skills including the chairing and leading of meetings, the maintenance of professional networks and the management of disciplinary and grievance procedures.
This framework will give you the skills and confidence to become an effective First Line Manager.
Location: Work Based
Duration: 15 – 18 Months
Entry Requirements: You should hold a contract of employment and be employed for a minimum of 16hrs per week.
Employee progression: You could progress on to a higher level Management and Leadership framework.
UNIT 13 – Implement and Maintain Business Continuity Plans and Processes
This unit supports new and aspiring first line managers to develop their skills and knowledge to prepare and monitor a business continuity plans (BCPs). As you work through this unit, you will exhibit the skills required to maintain critical systems and ensure that the business processes in place will result in the restoration of systems in the event of either a small or large disaster.
UNIT 25 – Manage a Budget
The unit aims to develop your knowledge to set and manage a budget and evaluate how well the budget is met in terms of the organisation’s needs. Learning includes the principles of financial management including budgeting, planning and costing to inform decision making and future budget setting.
This qualification can be fully funded within an Apprenticeship framework and as a stand-alone qualification through the Advanced Learner Loan. Alternatively, this Level 3 is also available commercially as a stand-alone qualification.
