How you’ll learn

This accounting course combines live online workshops, 1-2-1 coaching and a virtual learning environment. Through Mindful Education you’ll be able to access lesson content for each of the units you study.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Understand the fundamentals of accounting
  • Process and interpret financial data accurately
  • Develop specialised bookkeeping skills
  • Understand and create financial documents used by all businesses 

How you’ll be assessed

You’ll complete two computer-based assessments in an introduction to bookkeeping and the principles of bookkeeping controls.

Career progression

After successfully completing this accounting and finance course, you’ll be awarded the Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping. With this qualification you’ll have the skills, knowledge and certification you need to progress towards becoming a Professional Bookkeeper or Accounting Technician. You could also move on to the Level 3 AAT Certificate in Bookkeeping – at an equivalent level of study to A Levels.
