You’ll get hands-on experience with our trainer coaches – enhancing your knowledge of both personal training and business acumen. You’ll also gain a valuable qualification to demonstrate your skills.

How you’ll learn

Blended learning styles

The course combines face-to-face workshops, one-to-one coaching and remote teaching sessions – as well as access to your own virtual learning environment, which you can access anywhere, any time.

The timescales are flexible – typically around 12 weeks, but you can choose your own duration and drop into open workshops that suit your schedule.

How you’ll be assessed

You’ll typically submit work every 4 weeks and you’ll have practical observations to complete.

Entry requirements

You’ll need to meet these requirements:

  • A good level of English and Maths Functional Skills or equivalent
  • Resident in the UK/EEA/EU for the last 3 years and aged 16 or over
  • Base knowledge and understanding of the fitness and leisure industry

Career progression

After successfully completing your PT course, you’ll be awarded the Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training – equivalent to A Level study. With this qualification you’ll enhance your employability and you could move on to the Level 4 Certificate in Personal Training.
