Level 3 Learning Mentor

The Learning Mentor standard delivers with it a suite of nationally-recognised qualifications to become a highly skilled peer mentors. Perfect for any vocationally competent individual from any industry, you will be trained in the development and delivery of interactive teaching and learning, the provision of IAG and will understand your role in the safeguarding of vulnerable young people and adults. With Train Together, you can expect a holistic approach to our teaching, learning and assessment with delivery models that have been crafted to ensure that your individual needs have been fully considered. This is a course for all experienced staff who get satisfaction from seeing others grow and develop.

The Learning Mentor standard will support you to develop:

• Information, Advice and Guidance delivery
• Understanding on motivation and delegation
• Mentoring and ethical standards
• Equality, diversity and inclusion
• Safeguarding of vulnerable adults
• Teaching and learning practice
• Management of personal and professional development to remain current both vocationally and as an ETS professional.

To achieve the standard, you will (1) complete an observation of practice (2) showcase examples of your ETS practice, and (3) complete a professional discussion with an independent assessor.
