Level 3 IWFM Facilities Management Course

On this facilities management course you’ll develop your understanding of the wider FM sector, focusing on the key management functions expected of a typical FM. You’ll also gain a valuable qualification to help you develop your career.

  • Qualifications – Award (11 credits), Certificate (28 credits) or Diploma (48 credits)
  • Learning style – face-to-face, online and remote coaching
  • Progression – further study at Level 4 – 6 or other related FM specialisms
  • Duration – you’ll be registered for 2 years with the awarding organisation – with 6 weeks to submit assignments for each module

How you’ll learn

Each module will be delivered in a way in which accommodates your learning style and your prior learning and experience. An FM Trainer will deliver each subject and use workplace examples to help meet learning outcomes for each assignment.

  • Customer and Stakeholder Relations in Facilities Management
  • Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability in Facilities Management
  • Specification and Procurement of Facilities Supplies and Services
  • Health and Safety Responsibilities in Facilities Management

How you’ll be assessed

Each module is formatively assessed based on written submissions – including a professional discussion, Q&A and work project where required.

Career progression

After successfully completing this FM course, you’ll be awarded Level 3 Award, Certificate or Diploma in Facilities Management. With this qualification you’ll demonstrate your skills and enhance your employability – and you could progress onto a Level 4 Facilities Management course or apprenticeship.
