Five years ago, Zaheer joined Train Together as an apprentice administrator. Since then, he’s not only completed his apprenticeship but worked his way up to a managerial role and now manages a team of three as a Performance Manager
Currently studying for his L3 Diploma Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, along with his L5 Coaching and Mentoring, Zaheer is keen to progress his career and continue his learning and personal development.
“I’ve always received tremendous support and encouragement from the team at Train Together right from the beginning of my apprenticeship,” explains Zaheer. “There’s definitely a culture of Continuous Personal Development here for everyone, along with a willingness to train people and provide a platform for them to progress.”
“I’m very proud of what I’ve achieved so far, especially being the youngest manager in the company at 22 years’ old. I’d advise anyone to consider the Apprenticeship route as an alternative to University. You learn on the job, gaining valuable skills and experience to complement your qualifications and you’re earning at the same time, without building up a debt. It certainly worked for me!”
