Bridgette Cheetham-JonesHead of Quality and DSL

What makes you tick?

I love walking, animals and yoga! What makes me unique is linking my passions with unique travel experiences. I have recently trekked through a rainforest to the highest point (Mount Cerro Frio) in Costa Rica; I’ve combined walking and cooking in a very authentic village in Tuscany and have worked at an elephant orphanage in Sri Lanka. Future experiences planned are to trek across Norway, with the hope of seeing the Northern Lights, and either an autumn trek across Tibet to see the Dalai Lama community and the Taj Mahal or a cycle ride from Vietnam to Cambodia – I’m struggling to choose! I also ensure I get my annual detox by visiting a yoga retreat each year. There’s nothing better for the mind, body and soul.

What do you do at Train Together?

I’m the Head of Quality and Train Together’s Designated Safeguarding Lead. My role is to work with our teams to identify strengths and areas for development. I aim to ensure we share our best practices across all programmes and make continuous improvements across the business, which are identified and added to our Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), which informs me of areas I need to work on, to improve. Our learners are at the heart of everything we do, so it’s important for us to work together to ensure our learners get the best possible experience, the ‘Train Together’ way. I’m driven to perform by wanting that Grade 1 – Outstanding from Ofsted! Doesn’t everyone?
